	She was completed in January 1951 for Ocean Steam Ship Companies Australian service. After twenty one years service she was sold to Salvamiento y Demolici S. A. at Villaneuva y Geltru in Spain for demolition in March 1972. Whilst approaching her demolition berth she ran aground and the breakers refused to take delivery until she was correctly berthed.
