Accommodation for 1st, 2nd and 1,200-3rd class passengers. Chartered to American Line she commenced her maiden voyage from Liverpool to Philadelphia on 28th April 1883. She commenced her last voyage on this service on 16th May 1894 and in 1896 was sold to French owners France-Amerique Line and renamed Les Alpes.

 

In 1907 she was sold to Compagnie de Navigation France-Amerique and continued Marseilles - Spain - South America

 

In 1910 she was scrapped at Marseilles.
