In 1933 she was sold to the White SS Co, a new company set up to try out an experimental economy engine, and renamed Adderstone.

In April 1937 she was sold to Johan Gerrard, Kristiansand, Norway and renamed Gema, and in 1950 was sold to Wallem & Co, Hong Kong.

In 1951 she went to Daiichi Kabusiki Kaisya (First Shipping Co), Kobe and was named Norway Maru. Fitted with diesel engines in 1958 by Niigata Eng.Co, Niigata, Japan, she was eventually scrapped at Sakai in 1968.
