She remained with the GUCCC until the British Transport Commission took control in 1947. BTC re-engined her with her present engine in 1958. During the years 1944 to 1963 she remained in the hands of one boater family. #Thereafter she passed into private ownership but continued to carry cargoes. Was based at Ashby Canal, Leicestershire.# This contradicts totally a lot of what I know of this boat for years in the 60's and 70's was converted and based at Gas Street basin going to Aintree for the National.
